OBJECTIVE:

The main objective of BALTIC TEXTILE+ LEATHER is to give an opportunity for the participants to get together for work and communication with their potential partners, specialists and business colleagues as well as to present comfortable atmosphere in order to set the mutually beneficial business cooperation. It also allows to present a high professional skills and opportunities of the exhibitors that are ambitious to gain the leading position in the industry. It will also evoke an interest towards wholesale and retails trade in the sector in this region.

 

OTHER OBJECTIVES:

  • Introduction of new local and international brands and products to both domestic and global buyers in order to assist them further in creation of effective business link

  • Presentation of the world fashion trends in Apparel and Textiles at the Lithuanian Market

  • Development of the International Cooperation network Baltic States' Fashion/Textile

  • One of the few regions in EU with the growing clothing production industry sector during the period 2000- 2007: growth by 50,0% in Latvia, 24,7% in Lithuania and 22,2% in Estonia

  • One of the few regions in EU with the stable situation in textile production industry sector during the period 2000- 2007 ( reduction by 0,7 % )

  • Very fast growing internal market and purchasing power during 2000 – 2007: retail sales in Textiles, Clothing, Footwear and Leather goods during the above mentioned period have increased by 382,5% in Estonia, 399,2% in Latvia and 476,6% in Estonia

  •  You will examine the strengths of Lithuanian textile and apparel industry in terms of high quality of production, flexibility of manufacture, favorable geographical location.

  • You will learn about possibilities of market, latest innovations of textile and apparel industry, fashion trends, etc.;

  •  You will check the competitiveness of your production against competitors in the rapidly changing market.

    10 a.m.- 4 p.m. for professional visitors; 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. for public.

     

    Assembling of the stands:  on 16 September 2008 from 8 a.m to 8 p.m.

    Dismantling of the stands: on 19 September from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.;

                                           on 22 September from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
